Functional Fitness - Outdoors LIVE!

  Join us outdoors for this unique fitness class that promotes FUN and POSITIVITY! Any and all experience levels are welcome in our small group atmosphere.

 

Studies indicate that working out in nature — amid the trees and far from the typical stressors of life — boosts a person’s mood and lowers tension, anxiety and stress levels. These OutdoorFit classes combine elements of full body fitness, plyometrics, trail walking/running and yoga mobility in one fun workout.

COVID-19 Protocol & Safe Return

We are committed to providing the highest levels of safety for our community.  

 

To ensure the protection of all members and staff, we have implemented Safe Return to Play Guidelines for all Club Activities, modifications for each sport/activity as well as enhanced facility protocols.

 

You are responsible to read, understand and adhere to the following:

  • Return to Play Guidelines
  • Sport Specific COVID-19 Protocols and modifications to the game, class or activity (more information coming soon).
  • Our Partner created COVID-19 Protocols for their activity.

Wednesday Evenings: Classes begin on Wednesday, July 8 and end on Wednesday, July 29.

Wednesday: 6:30 PM - 7:15 PM (45 minutes). 

 

Class Info

Join the fun, and get lead in a small coach-to-client ratio Strength & Conditioning class- outside! Regardless of environment, our S&C programming focuses on overall movement capability & capacity conditioning, emphasizing consistent progress of the individual regardless of initial capabilities. We’ll guide you through progressive movement patterns tailored to your mobility and physical capacities, helping you to achieve your goals!


This beginner to intermediate Outdoorfit program includes all equipment and a certified coach. Classes are 45 minutes in length with a 1:9 ratio. Workouts will consist of the following:

 

- Warm-up

- Strength work

- Cardio or workout of the day component

- Stretching

All movements can be modified or scaled.

Cost (plus HST)

Individual Registration is $45.00 +HST

Aggy Popiel – Owner/Operator of Go Active with over 15 years experience in the outdoor adventure, recreation & education fields.

Go Active provides adventure coaching, activity programs and wellness products for individuals and families of all ages. What to Bring?

  • Comfortable workout clothing & runners (wear layers and dress for the weather)

Location

The outdoor group fitness class will take place at Zwicks Park.  Specific location will be provided by the instructor.
